Teen to skydive in aid of the NSPCC

Faye Fleetwood

Local teen, Faye Fleetwood is to skydive, on the 24th October, in aid of the NSPCC. The skydive will be a static line skydive. This means that Miss Fleetwood can jump on her own but that the shoot will open immediatly after jumping. Miss Fleetwood said:

I am going to be doing a static line skydive in aid of the NSPCC. This is a charity very close to my heart, so getting the oppourtunity to do this really means a lot to me! A static line skydive runs very much like this: On the 23rd October I will be travelling up to Bicester to carry out a days worth of training for the jump. This will teach me everything I need to know, so hopefully there will be no complications! The next day, the 24th, I will be recapping on the training, and then jumping from the plane at 3,000ft. The jump is solo, so I will be jumping alone. My chute is attached to the plane, and when I jump, the chute opens. A lot of people have asked me, and NO, I am not attached to a rope or anything!

I am hoping to raise £600 for the NSPCC, and will be holding numerous events to help fundraise. I am also asking for donations, of any amount, to be given through my justgiving account at www.justgiving.com/fayefleetwood Here you can donate with paypal or credit/debit cards. There will also be collection boxes at Kennet School for spare change! Every penny counts! And thankyou for your support!
