Thatcham Film Club: July, August and September screenings

For those of you who I haven't met yet, hello! I'm Sam and if you've come to one of the Thatcham Film Club screenings since November you have probably bought a ticket or a cup of tea from me. I have now taken over the e-mail list and will be getting in touch every month to let you know which films are coming up.

I would love to hear from you as well - please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions, film recommendations or event ideas, or if you would like to become more involved with running the film screenings. The Corn Exchange is happy to support Thatcham Film Club but it is still very much your club, and we want you to have a say in how it is run.

Future dates

We have confirmed the dates for our next three screenings but haven't yet booked the films. It would be great to have your feedback before we do so, so I have put the programme we're proposing below. I am planning to book the films next Monday so please let me have any feedback before then!

• Friday 24th September | The Blind Side

Volunteers needed!

As a result of this, we would really welcome any volunteers who could help spread the word about Thatcham Film Club events, either by forwarding e-mails to your contacts or by putting up some posters around town.

It would also be great if any of our regulars could help steward the film screenings. This is very straightforward and only needs a little bit of training.

If you think you can help out, please let me know and we will take it from there.
